At CAA we are working on a service to help you maintain the value of your aviation art and memorabilia.

Your collection may be a personal one or one recently discovered or inherited through an estate. In some cases you will not know the value of what you have or may not know anything about the historical significance of the collection. Like old photos of civilian aircraft, military photos, etc.

Through archiving we can establish a data base where you can sell your collection or find answers to the questions on their content. We will also be able to advise you on institutions that specialize in aviation history.

Next, there are some pieces that will be in the need of restoration or conservation. Restoration is the most expensive aspect of preserving things like photographs, journals, papers and art work in general. However, without restoration the historical or monetary value of a piece will completely disappear.

Prior to reaching a restoration state in may be helpful to look at conservation techniques to help preserve your collection.

There are several products and services that are available to help you with both of these areas.

We will be putting together resources to support this activity in the very near future.

In the interim, if you have specific questions or needs, please <contact us> and we might be able to offer assistance prior to be up and running on our own…
